In The Garden-May 19

It pleases me to take amateur photographs of my garden, and it pleases my garden to make my photographs look professional. ~Robert Brault

My bleeding hearts are keeping Mr. Bumble very, very busy!

My pansy army…

I slowly made my way around the Farmers Market and Garden Center on Elston for a little bit and picked up two flats of gazanias, zinnias and cosmos…

The forget-me-nots are kind of my favorite (shhhh…don’t tell the others)

On my walk through I noticed the perfect little petals were falling, completely intact, into the mulch…

They are so perfect they seem like silk flowers…

This was being used as a bird feeder but now I think it will be a little garden alter…

Poor John has a morning of mild labor in front of him. We are going to plant some seeds and the flats I picked up on Tuesday, maybe get to some mulching and then we are off to pick up some more perennials from a woman on Freecycle! Poor John.
